The March webinar (see recording below) featured:
- Heidi Faris, Connecting to Nature Coordinator at the Association of Zoos & Aquariums, who provided an overview of Party for the Planet for 2022
- Samantha Gibb, the (new as January!) World Ocean Day Manager who provided an overview of exciting opportunities around World Ocean Day on June 8, including new resources and tools for zoos, aquariums, and museums
There definitely is a LOT of interest in having events back in person to a large extent this year! More than 75 people from a wide range of zoos, aquariums and museums were on the webinar and lots of great questions and discussion.
As a reminder, please regularly visit the World Ocean Day blog for some of the latest resources and tools, all free and customizable for you as you plan your events!

Our webinar series is part of an initiative funded in part by the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation. The focus for this initiative is US-based visitor-serving institutions, especially zoos, aquariums, and museums, and some of the lessons learned are being applied in other situations and in other countries.
Thank you for your interest and involvement! One ocean, one climate, one future — together!
