Whales to Windmills: Inventions Inspired by the Sea

Check out this TEDx presentation by Mike Chamberlain, Manager of Innovation for Guest Experience  at the Monterey Bay Aquarium: “Whales to Windmills: Inventions Inspired by the Sea.”  (TEDx events are independently organized TED events in communities around the world.)

In the presentation, Mike highlights how different inventors have used biomimicry in designing new technologies. It focuses on solutions and opportunities that may  be possible in responding to climate change, without directly discussing  climate change as the impetus for these innovations.
